Renata Lazarova is an independent consultant operating out of Basel, Switzerland. As an experienced healthcare professional with 20 years’ experience in pharmaceuticals and a passion for health promotion and prevention, she has founded Etera so that she can capitalize on her experience and work on strategic challenges at the interface between medical science and education.
Renata is a Medical Doctor graduated from Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. She has held senior positions in both contract clinical research organizations as well as in pharmaceutical industry. Her career ran on two main complimentary tracks: developing drugs and developing people. She works strategically and drives collaborations to ‘connect the dots’. Her experience and skills made her successful in implementing identified opportunities, starting new and managing complex cross-functional projects. Renata recently completed the Certificate of Advanced Studies in Health Promotion and Prevention at Public Health Institute of University in Basel, Bern and Zürich.

Renata is active supporting Diversity and Inclusion, in particular driving inclusion of people with disabilities. In her former company she sponsored the Diversability Support Network, Employee Resource Group, the winner of the European Diversity Award 2014.
